Ford’s Funeral

In an unexpected turn of events, President Ford died, and I needed to change plans to cover the ceremonies.

I was amazed how John was able to shoot the images he needed and attend his own party. As the spouse, I was concerned this important national event would eclipse the surprise party I planned. When planning the party, I considering how an assigment might just crop up, but I didn't think the chances were high of a paying gig the weekend after Christmas! In the end, in true professional photographer fashion, John made it to both notable events.
