Outside the Fed

Tuesday, November 28, 2006 Concept/Objective:

Assignment ConstructThe objective was a simply group photo of a team of college students competing inside the Federal Reserve.

——-

Pre-Production:

Speaking to the client, who wanted us to work inside the Fed, which we’ve done before, we counseled them that we’d need clearance to do so. When they inquired, they were told “outside only, along Constitution Ave,” so that’s what we got.

Assignment:

Arriving on site, within about 5 minutes, security decided we shouldn’t be there, despite all the jackets and ties. After a few minutes’ worth of radio-conversation, it was finally determined we weren’t a threat, and allowed to take our group photo – which took less than 3 minutes, before they all headed inside to the competition.

Post-Production:

A normal CD and delivery – no e-mails or rush turnaround.

Final Analysis:

This was a fairly straightforward group portrait.
