Detroit for the Series

Saturday, October 21, 2006 Concept/Objective:

Assignment ConstructThe objective was to document the client’s partipciation in the World Series, in Detroit.

Pre-Production:

A schedule of events, and places where the clients branding would be present made the task a bit easier, but not easy, to be sure.

Assignment:

From the client-branded towels that were handed out, to the free trial subscriptions,  to the fans surrounding the booth where you could sign up, to the field-level interviews, it was necessary to be three places at once, it felt like.

Post-Production:

We delivered images to multiple stakeholders, from the programming department to the broadcasting team for sports, to the marketing team.

Final Analysis:

: It was a significant undertaking to be sure, and I felt like I was in fifth gear for a change, taxing my ability to make photos happen, and get access I was not given. In the end, I was excited at the scope and extent of the images I was able to make happen.
