Bible Maker

Thursday, October 05, 2006 Concept/Objective:

Assignment Construct
The idea was to cover the press preview of a hand-written bible, still in process.

Pre-Production:

The lighting was limited, and we needed to use indirect light, so we had to bounce, even when the ceilings were too high!

Assignment:

Assignment Construct: I wanted to juxtapose the project lead with the work – and starting at Genesis seemed the right place, him interacting with the bible, and presenting it.

Post-Production:

No special post production – just a CD delivered with normal turnaround.

Final Analysis:

Looking at this bible, I was trying to figure out where I could come up with the several thousand dollars required to get a copy, and where I would put it. I spent far too much time trying to think about that, but I really did want one, they were so beautiful.
